Present generation of youth of India is unaware of the contribution done by Adi Shankara, hence to create awareness and feeling of belongingness to the Dharma and to our rich culture, the spiritual task of “Mission – Kaladi to Kedar” is to enlighten the youth of India.
Adi Shankaracharya founded the Advaita Vedanta. Born in a simple Brahmin family approximately in the 8th century A.D in Kaladi, Kerala, he was named as Shankara and is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva.
Shankara advocated the greatness of the Vedas and was the most famous Advaita philosopher who restored the Vedic Dharma and Advaita Vedanta to its pristine purity and glory.
Shankara represents truly The “ONENESS” who preached “Brahmo Sathyam Jagath Mithyam”.
As per Shankara, Once the individual soul cuts the knot of Avidya (Ignorance) and realizing his own nature truly, transcends the limits of the body with which he had identify himself so far due to Avidya, ethical rules cease to exist for him. The Vedas has also have no meaning for him. He rises above in junctions and prohibitions which apply only to the ignorant. He becomes super normal. Moral behavior becomes his nature and whatever he does becomes a law and example in morality unto others. Every acts of his, grounded as it is in self-knowledge, leads to the highest truth or rather is an expression of reality itself. His acting for the uplift of men also takes the form of guiding him towards the ideal of self-knowledge. That is Shankara’s ideas of Loka Samgraha. “Brahmam Sathyam, Jagatham mithya”. Divine is the truth and all else are illusions. In other words Oneness is truth and material life is illusion.
